On Tour: Soojin Han at the Grand Hall in Daegu Concert House

28 October, 2026 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

venue

Grand Hall Daegu Concert House, South Korea

For the third concert of our South Korean tour, we travel to Daegu Concert House, where we are joined once again by acclaimed violinist Soojin Han for an evening in the magnificent Grand Hall.

Our recent recording The Seasons brought us together in the studio, and this tour offers the opportunity to continue that musical partnership live on stage. In Daegu, we present a programme that showcases the remarkable variety, energy and expression of music for strings.

We begin with Mozart’s Divertimento in D major, K.136, a work filled with youthful elegance and brilliance, followed by Rossini’s lively Sonata for Strings No. 1 in G major. Britten’s much-loved Simple Symphony brings its distinctive blend of playfulness, lyricism and warmth before the evening culminates in Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.

With Soojin as soloist, Vivaldi’s masterpiece takes us through an extraordinary musical depiction of the changing year, from the birdsong of spring and dramatic storms of summer to the celebrations of autumn and frozen landscapes of winter.

As our journey through South Korea continues, we are delighted to bring this programme and our collaboration with Soojin to audiences in Daegu.
