On Tour: Soojin Han at Lotte Concert Hall, Seoul

Our South Korean tour with acclaimed violinist Soojin Han comes to a close at Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul, marking the final performance of a journey that has taken us and this wonderful programme to audiences across the country.

Following our recent collaboration with Soojin on The Seasons recording, it has been a pleasure to bring our musical partnership from the studio to the stage throughout this tour. For our final concert, we once again celebrate the richness and versatility of music for strings in one of Seoul’s great concert halls.

The evening begins with the elegance and youthful energy of Mozart’s Divertimento in D major, K.136, followed by Rossini’s spirited Sonata for Strings No. 1 in G major. Britten’s much-loved Simple Symphony brings its characteristic warmth, wit and lyricism before we turn to the centrepiece of our collaboration with Soojin.

Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons provides a fitting finale to both the programme and our South Korean tour. With Soojin as soloist, we journey once more through Vivaldi’s vivid musical landscapes, from the freshness of spring to the icy brilliance of winter.

We look forward to celebrating the conclusion of our tour with audiences in Seoul and bringing this special musical journey to a memorable close at Lotte Concert Hall.
