The English Chamber Orchestra Wind Ensemble will perform at St Mary the Virgin, Ross-on-Wye, as part of the Music in Country Churches series. The evening concludes with Mozart’s Serenade No. 10 in B-flat major, K361 ‘Gran Partita’, a towering masterpiece for wind ensemble. Richly scored and emotionally expansive, the ‘Gran Partita’ is a work of extraordinary beauty, blending grandeur with intimacy, and brilliance with tenderness.
