Cartagena Festival: Orchestra in Residence
Our five programmes at the Cartagena Festival de Música will take audiences on a musical journey spanning the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods, exploring the relationship between musical structure, balance and expression. The repertoire brings together some of the greatest composers in classical music, including Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms and Ravel, alongside contemporary works and a world premiere.
Two of our concerts will be conducted by internationally acclaimed clarinettist and conductor Andreas Ottensamer, while the remaining three will be under the direction of our Leader and Principal, Stephanie Gonley. Performing alongside an outstanding line-up of international soloists, we are honoured to be performing at this festival for the 1st time.
