Sponsor a Musician’s Chair

Create a visible, personal connection with the musicianship you help sustain. Sponsor an agreed ECO chair for a season or year and help keep exceptional performance at the heart of the Orchestra.

Why Sponsor a Chair?

A Personal Connection to the Musicians You Support

Most giving supports music in general. Chair Sponsorship connects your support to a specific place within the Orchestra.

Your sponsorship can be linked to an agreed orchestral chair, such as Principal Cello, Principal Flute, a string chair, a wind chair or another position agreed with ECO. It can be made in your own name, your company’s name, your family’s name, or in honour or memory of someone special, or in celebration.

This is a personal and visible form of support. You can see where your contribution sits within the Orchestra, and your sponsorship helps sustain the musicianship, opportunity and artistic excellence that allow the English Chamber Orchestra to continue performing at the highest level.

Chair Sponsorship is suitable for individuals, families, philanthropists and companies who want their support to feel human, meaningful and directly connected to the people who make the music possible.
