Chopin & Beethoven in Valencia with Roberto Forés Veses

It is a real pleasure for us to perform at the magnificent Palau de la Música in Valencia, a hall renowned for its beautiful acoustics and vibrant musical life. This concert feels particularly special as we are joined by our Principal Guest Conductor, Roberto Forés Veses, performing in his hometown — always a meaningful moment for both conductor and orchestra.

We are delighted to welcome Domenico Codispoto as soloist for Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2, a work full of youthful lyricism and poetic brilliance, where the piano sings with elegance and warmth. In the second half we turn to Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2, a work brimming with energy, wit and optimism, capturing a composer on the brink of his revolutionary middle period.

Sharing this programme in such an inspiring setting, and in Roberto’s home city, makes this performance all the more special for us.
