The rest of the programme celebrates three timeless serenades\, opening with Elgar’s heartfelt work that radiates English pastoral charm. After the interval\, relish a sparkling gem from the Swedish composer\, Dag Wirén\, whose playful Serenade is full of light-hearted moments. The concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s sublime work\, an homage to Mozart that combines lyrical grace with sweeping emotional depth.
